Badged Shadow VLX, the early-2000s VT600C was pitched as an affordable entry to cruising that still borrowed big-bike features: three-valve, twin-plug heads, liquid cooling and maintenance-free ignition and cam-chain tensioners. Its steel double-cradle frame and hidden monoshock give the rigid-chopper look while still offering seven preload settings, and the very low seat makes it easy to flat-foot at a stop.
